Transparent Superhydrophobic Coatings with Mechanical and Chemical Stability Prepared by Modified Polyhedral Oligosilsesquioxanes via UV-Curable Method

چکیده

Superhydrophobic coating with applicable transmittance was synthesized by simple UV-curable method which likely suitable for large-scale production. The super-hydrophobicity derived from the component containing modified polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes chosen low free energy and potential to form hierarchical structure. adhesion could reach highest level strip tape peel test. Compared UV-cured commercial coatings, is enhanced at least two levels. Super-hydrophobicity preserved after long duration of water droplet impact, while contact angle decreased slightly sand impact due partial damage can resist chemical corrosion acid solution (HCl), base (NaOH) salt (NaCl). repellence function, adequate transmittance, good mechanical stability great interest practical outdoor applications.
